So, you wanna talk about a screwed up mess?
Memphis City Schools are the definition of “Screwed Up Mess!”

From a school board that can’t get along, to a mayor that is too eaten up with his political agenda to do what’s best for the schools (and the city too for that matter,) Memphis City Schools are a great place to educate children on guns, drugs, violence, and crime.

Not to belittle all of the Memphis City Schools staff though … Some of the Memphis City Schools staff is good, and actually cares about what’s best for the students.  Many, however, do not, and I’m afraid the ones that do may be outnumbered.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that Memphis City Schools has more than its share of problems.  Just watch one night of the local news, or read the newspaper for a day.  At Memphis City Schools, crime and stupidity abounds.

The problems range from corruption in the cafeteria staff, to students carrying guns.  In my humble opinion, Memphis City Schools wouldn’t be a safe environment for a street gang, much less kids in need of an education.
